Enterprise, Ala. – After an early Tuesday shooting, the local police department arrested a man and charged him with attempted murder.
According to an Enterprise Police Department news release, Evertt Santell Hornsby, 41, of Enterprise, was detained and charged after a foot chase at 6:30 a.m.
Officers responded to a 4:26 a.m. call reporting a shooting at a property in the 400 block of Grimes Street and located a female victim with a gunshot wound to the back as a result of an argument with the suspect, who had left the scene.
Hornsby was apprehended two hours later.
The sufferer was rushed to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
