Dothan, AL – According to the statement, Katie Boyd Britt made the anticipated announcement official early Tuesday, about the time her first interview of the campaign aired.
Katie Boyd Britt promises to promote Christian conservative values, believing the country’s future hinges on them.
She resigned last week from the Business Council of Alabama, where she had served as president and chief executive officer since 2018.
Previously, she held several positions, including those in Shelby’s office and would gladly accept the powerful senator’s endorsement, if offered.
The campaign will be a family affair. Her husband, Wesley Britt, also resigned from his job last week to help.
