BUFORD, GA — The Athens-Clarke Police Department is looking for a woman that stole $32,000 using forged checks.

The police said the checks and the driver’s license were stolen from a car at Southeast Clarke Park on Jan.31, which was one of six cars that were broken into that day. Then the driver’s license was used for cashing the checks.

The Police department is asking for the public’s help if someone recognizes this woman.

She moved around Buford, Dacula, Norcross, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Douglasville, Conyers and Covington on Feb. 2 and 3 and spent over $32,000.
