HEADLAND, AL — If you are a driver in Headland, make sure you stay away from Whitten Street, which is between Cleveland Street and Mitchel Street as the officials closed it on Monday and will remain closed until further notice.
According to the Headland Police Department, the road will be under construction for major repairs and only local traffic will be able to enter from the Mitchel Street side of the road.
The repairs are expected to be bigger, so there is no set date for opening the road back.
