Sawyer has been in private practice for 12 years, beginning in 2005 as an associate and then partner at Lewis, Brackin, Flowers, Johnson & Sawyer.

In 2019, she opened The Law Office of Holly L. Sawyer.

Her legal experience includes general litigation representing plaintiffs and defendants, business organization, probate, family law, and mediation.

She is running in the Republican primary, set for May 24, 2022.

Sawyer is hosting a campaign kickoff event at her office located at 294 West Main Street, Suite 103 in Dothan on June 16 from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. with the announcement at 8 a.m.
