DOTHAN, Ala. — Hospitalizations have dropped by more than 100 patients since Tuesday.
Wednesday, 108 hospitals reported that they have 2,967 COVID-19 patients in total. This is 114 fewer hospitalizations than Tuesday, which had 3,081 patients.
Locally, hospitalizations at Southeast Health have begun tapering off following a surge over the weekend. There are currently 106 patients there compared to 111 Sunday.
According to the Dothan-Houston County Emergency Agency, Flowers Hospital is currently treating 50 inpatient cases, remaining around the same number since Dec. 23.
