ALABAMA – According to the statement, officers responded at Geneva Hwy and Bellwood Road on a disturbance call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found a 14-year-old juvenile who was struck multiple times with a cell phone charging cord by the juvenile’s mother.
The juvenile suffered welts and bruising to the left side of the body.
Her name is Latisha Nicole Holmes and she was arrested.
The 34-year-old woman was charged with willful abuse of a child under 18.
She is now in the Coffee County Jail.
