DOTHAN, AL- Almost all of the Dothan City Schools are going to open their doors for their students on Tuesday, January 18.
The exceptions are the 3-rd and 4th-grade classes of Girard Intermediate School, as they will continue their virtual classes until Thursday, January 20, and return to their classrooms on Friday, January 21.
All of Dothan City School busses will operate on their usual schedule starting Tuesday.
Safety measures will be put in place for both students and staff, while the Dothan City School will keep an eye if the situation escalates.
If any student has a positive test the previous week will be required to wear a mask for the rest of the following week.
Masks will also be required on the busses and DCS Head Start campus per federal regulations.
Dothan City School encourages the students to be responsible and if they are feeling ill, to stay home and check in with their health professional.
