Drivers in the Circle City can expect a couple of additional construction projects while out on the roadways

Dothan, AL – According to the statement, Dothan City Commissioners approved adding an additional westbound lane from Bel Aire Drive to John D. Odom Road.

ALDOT funded $2,000,000 dollars of the project and the city will be responsible for the difference.

Crews will work on adding an additional lane going eastbound.

Drivers can expect construction to start in about six weeks.

According to the officials, it will take about a year to complete the construction on this project.

Commissioners also approved an agreement on the Honeysuckle road project. This motion is set to add sidewalks and lighting from Main Street to Fortner Street.
