DOTHAN, Ala. – Dr. Scott Harris with the Alabama Department of Public Health has suspended the administration of the Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccines until the Federal Drug Administration deems it safe to continue.
Because of that decision, the Dale County COVID vaccination clinic set for Thursday, April 15, at the Perry Recreation Center in Ozark has been cancelled, said Dale Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Vernon Johnson.
DMC is scheduled to administer the Pfizer vaccine on April 29 at the Perry Recreation Center, he said.
