Alabama Coronavirus Numbers Update

DOTHAN, Ala. – The Alabama Department of Public Health is reporting 3, 355 case of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

Of those numbers, 2,340 are confirmed cases and 1,015 are probable.

The ADPH is also reporting 114 new deaths from the virus Saturday. Another 57 deaths were likely caused by the virus but are still under investigation.

Hospital numbers in Dothan are showing signs of decrease. Southeast Health continues to see their number of hospitalizations from Covid-19 drop. Saturday, the hospital is reporting 73. That’s their lowest number of covid-19 patients since the year began.

Flowers hospital is currently treating 49 patients with Covid-19. That number is down from earlier this week.

Over 33,000 people have been tested for Covid-19 at Flowers Medical Group offices. This includes testing for procedures at the hospital.

Here’s a look at where each wiregrass county stands for the last week:

Houston county has added 190 cases over the last 7 days. They’ve also added 17 new deaths from the virus during the same time period.

Dale county added 99 cases and no deaths.

Geneva county has added 77 cases and 4 deaths.

Coffee county has added 157 cases and 2 deaths.

Henry county added 43 cases and 2 deaths.
