DOTHAN, Ala.— Wiregrass Church is reverting back to online services for this Sunday after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
“Out of an abundance of caution, I feel the responsible step is to revert to online services until we can confirm if any of our other staff members have been impacted by the virus,” lead pastor Adam Roberson wrote in an online statement. “Although the staff member is feeling relatively well, we have decided to take all the necessary precautions.”
In the meanwhile, the church is increasing sanitation measures while all staff members that may have been exposed are being tested while in quarantine.
“Please be in prayer for the staff member who is sick, and for the protection of additional staff members who may have been exposed,” Roberson wrote.
