DOTHAN, Ala. — For the past several days, the Wiregrass Angel House has held its annual Cleaning of the Gardens event.
Each year, the Angel House and its partners come together to clean and spruce up the Victim Memorial Gardens.
Individuals with agencies such as the Dothan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and the District Attorney’s Office lend a helping hand.
Cleaning the gardens is important because it gives victims’ families a place to honor their loved ones and is where memorial events take place.
