DOTHAN, Ala.— The carnival has come to town after a long stretch of nothing in the area to do.
Family Fun Fest Incorporated is holding a carnival in the Wiregrass Commons Mall parking lot beginning Thursday and lasting through March 21.
They are looking forward to seeing people after the difficulties of the past year.
Although it is outside, workers hope that people will still maintain social distancing and stay within their family groups.
“So while you’re out here have a good time,” Owner of Family Fun Fest Inc., Paul Marini said. “Enjoy yourself. Wash your hands. Sanitize whenever you walk by a jar of sanitizer. Throw a little on your hands. It takes two seconds.”
The carnival began Thursday at 5 and Marini looks forward to seeing everyone with a smile on their face.
