DOTHAN, Ala.— COVID-19 hospitalizations have continued to drop in the month, dropping now to 1,087 hospitalizations across 104 hospitals.
This is the lowest number Alabama has seen since Nov. 8, a little more than 3 months ago.
Locally, hospitalizations have remained around the same amount.
Southeast Health is currently treating 55 hospitalizations, one less than what was reported Sunday.
Flowers Hospital reported 29 patients Monday morning, three less than last Friday. However, it also reported one new death, giving it a total of 187 deaths since the pandemic began.
