DOTHAN, Ala. — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Santa was not able to sit with children this year.
The man with the bag had to wear his own mask and keep distant but he still showed up and made sure to hear what every child wanted this year.
He said he is grateful that he was still able to see all the good kids despite the virus.
“I’m ready. I’m just as ready as I could be,” He said. “The reindeer and everything, they’re all resting and getting ready for the big moment.”
Santa will continue to wear his mask to stay safe while visiting houses.
