DOTHAN, Ala. – AllSouth Urgent Care, Qualico Steel, and APEC will be hosting a job fair on Wednesday, 9/30 at Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center (Rotary Hall) from 2-6 pm.
The companies want individuals looking for a career in the medical or industrial field. Please come prepared to be interviewed with a complete resume. Social distancing will be maintained and a mask will be required.
AllSouth Urgent Care positions:
Front Desk Representative(s) – this vital position will have first contact with patients whether by telephone or in person. Registration will take place, which includes data entry into an electronic medical record. Also, collecting payments and aiding telephone callers and completing a day end report.
Radiology Tech(s) – X-ray techs triage the patients and perform x-rays according to physician protocols. Full digital radiology suites at both clinics. X-rays to include all body parts due to upper respiratory symptoms and bodily injuries. Also, will be trained to do drug screens, hearing tests and other clinic testing.
Certified Medical Assistants – to triage and take care of patients, drug screening, hearing tests, assisting the provider with blood draws, IV fluids, lab collections, drawing up injections and more. New employees will be fully trained.
LPN(s) – to assist providers with taking care of patients. Nurses will chart in electronic medical record, collect specimens, draw blood, start IVs, lab testing and all other clinical aspects including training the medical assistants.
Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 8-6 & Saturdays 8-5. Saturdays are on a work schedule rotation.
Qualico Steel, and APEC postions:
Maintenance Technicians – Looking for individuals with electrical and mechanical backgrounds. Must have prior experience. Experience working on hydraulic, pneumatical and electrical maintenance and repairs. The ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
Welders – Fabrication of structural steel. The ability to read and comprehend blueprints and specifications. Must be able to pass a weld test.
Fitters – structural steel fitter and tacking and gathering of detail. Must be able to read blueprints or the ability to learn quickly.
Machine Operator – Operating fabrication machines that punch, shape, cut, bend and structure. Read job specifications and determine machine adjustments. Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
