ALABAMA – According to the court documents, Van Christopher Havis was sentenced to life imprisonment during a hearing on Wednesday.
Holly Debord was sentenced to 99 years in prison.
Prosecutors say that both defendants pleaded guilty to charges of sexual torture, sodomy and bestiality after being accused of making a video involving an animal and a victim who was described by authorities as mentally disabled.
The video was shared digitally last year.
Prosecutors say both defendants are eligible for parole.
