CLARKE COUNTY, GA — Police officers in Clarke County rescued the 12-year-old girl who was kidnapped in Alabama.
The officials in Enterprise, Alabama issued an amber alert when the 21-year-old Alvaro Salvador abducted her from her home.
He took her in a Salvador’s 2017 GMC Acadia, and the authorities warned the public to be on the lookout for him.
On Thursday night, he was located and arrested, while the Athens officers rescued the 12-year-old girl.
He was charged with kidnapping in Georgia, and will face additional pending charges in Alabama.
