DOTHAN, Ala. — The Honeysuckle Road Project is still taking place and could be for a while.
According to Dothan Public Works Director Charles Metzger, the design for Phase One is about 90 percent complete, and they are now moving into the acquistion of right-of-way, widening property, and re-aligning Honeysuckle Road.
Metzger said the right of way purchase will be taking place throughout this year and hopefully, roadwork construction can begin at the start of 2022.
