DOTHAN, Ala. — Girls Inc. of Dothan has canceled its standard afterschool program.
Development manager Bria Solomon said they will be doing an all-day program instead for female students.
Solomon said this will be the best option to make sure the girls are safe.
“We are making sure that our girls are social distancing,” she said. “Our classroom size is going to be about 10 to 12 girls. They will be required to wear masks and make sure they sanitizer and wash their hands every 45 minutes.”
Solomon said their goal is to strengthen and empower young girls.
