DOTHAN, Ala. – Dothan Police arrested a Fort Gaines, Ga., man following a hit-and-run Friday night on Montgomery Highway.
Police were dispatched around 9:15pm to the 3200 block of Montgomery Highway, in the general vicinity of the Wiregrass Commons Mall. Reports indicate the victim was attempting to cross the roadway when struck by a vehicle.
Dothan Police traffic investigators identified the suspect vehicle after speaking to witnesses on the scene. In the hours following the incident, police located the vehicle involved and took the suspect into custody.
