DOTHAN, Ala.— A Dothan man is facing a second-degree assault charge after allegedly attacking a woman with a machete, according to the Dothan Police Department.
Sgt. Tim Mullis told WDHN the assault happened on the 100 block of Newberry lane Wednesday afternoon. Danny Dewayne Williams, 42, is accused of striking the victim’s leg and palms, although the exact extent of the injuries are not known.
Currently, information on the motive is not yet available. Williams is listed as being in the Houston County Jail at the moment.
