DOTHAN, Ala. – According to the officials, a complete renovation of the Dothan Technology Center is approved.

This means that all of the buildings will get updated with new materials, new electrical, new HVAC and new equipment.

The project will mean a complete overhaul that will improve Dothan High School’s overall appearance.

There’s 69 city school systems in the state. But, Dothan City Schools ranks 67 out of 69 in a local support of schools so the funds are just critical for them to be able to provide some much needed renovations for their facility.

No local money will be used which is why the state’s money means so much.

Restoration will be made to gym bleachers, Convocation Center for Performing Arts Presentations and volleyball arena.
