DOTHAN, Ala. — The Dothan City Commission approved the last part of Water World’s newest additions to come for the summer of 2021.
After the COVID-19 filled summer, the park is looking forward to not only the use of its four new water slides but also buying and installing a new playscape that will be installed in the children’s pool.
“The new addition the aquatic play structure is a part of this kids cove pool,” said Kelly Stakelum, aquatics manager at Water World. “It’ll be put in the center. This pool was built for that play structure to go into it so we’re really excited to be purchasing that now and getting the process of getting it in.”
The park is looking forward to visitors using the new structures next summer.
