DOTHAN, AL — Dothan officials are asking their citizens for input in deciding where should they spend the money they’re getting from the Federal Government for low-income residents.

The City encourages all neighborhood residents, as well as people from social service agencies and others who want their opinions heard, to attend one of the four upcoming meetings. These funds are part of the annual Community Development Block Grant.

“These forums allow citizens to be able to go and give their input on where they would like to see the funding being spent,” Mayor of Dothan, Mark Saliba said.

The first meeting will take place next Tuesday evening, February 22nd at the Doug Tew Recreation Center from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Meetings schedule:

  • Tuesday, February 22nd at Doug Tew Recreation Center from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
  • Wednesday, February 23rd at Wiregrass Recreation Center from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
  • Thursday, February 24th at Andrew Belle Community Center from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
