DOTHAN, Ala.— Alabama broke its record for daily COVID-19 cases again Monday, confirming 646 cases in one day.
This is 243 more than the previous record of 403 cases set last Thursday. From Sunday to Monday, the difference was nearly 300 cases apart.
Alabama is now recording 15,311 cases in total and 573 deaths. The counties with the most cases are Mobile, Montgomery, and Jefferson Counties.
In our district, the confirmed per capita rate is lower in the southernmost counties while higher in the northern parts of the southeastern district.

- Butler County — 373 cases; 13 deaths
- Coffee County — 210 cases; one death
- Houston County — 178 cases; four deaths
- Pike County — 153 cases; zero deaths
- Barbour County — 118 cases; one death
- Dale County — 88 cases; zero deaths
- Covington County — 70 cases; one death
- Henry County — 69 cases; two deaths
- Crenshaw County — 60 cases; one death
- Geneva County — 38 cases; zero deaths
