COTTONWOOD, Ala. – According to the statement, the shooting happened on Friday around 6:40 p.m..
The CPD arrested David Rau’L Townsend for shooting a 19-year-old male.
The suspect is charged with first-degree assault.
He was placed in the Houston County Jail on $30,000 bond.
The 19-year-old male was taken to a local hospital and transferred to a Birmingham hospital by helicopter.
According to the police officials, he suffered life threatening injuries.
