DOTHAN, AL— On Friday, Feb.4 an argument escalated between Latrevius Thomas-Jackson and Frenando Quantrill Jones, where Jones suffered fatal stabbing wounds.
The Police officers responded to a domestic fight on the 300 Block of Rimson Road.
Reportedly, the altercation started from Jones being unhappy with how Thomas-Jackson was treating a woman. Shortly after, Thomas-Jackson went inside a house on Rimson Road to get a knife. When he returned outside, he stabbed Jones in the upper torso multiple times.
Jones, then wounded, somehow managed to ran from the scene. When the Police found him, investigators also found the knife which was involved in the incident.
The emergency crews treated Jones, but he passed away on the way to the hospital.
Thomas-Jackson was arrested and charged with murder.
He is booked in the Houston County Jail on a $1.5 million bond.
