ALABAMA – According to the police officials, her name is Brenygha Tatyna Mashaye Edwards and she has been charged with capital murder in the slaying of Versaun Leonard.
The shooting occurred around midnight Saturday on Willow Lane.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found the victim deceased.
The 22-year-old woman was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on Sunday morning.
She is being held without bond.
Authorities say that the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
