Dothan, Ala. – According to the statement, this unfortunate incident occurred around 1:35 a.m. Friday morning.
The crash happened about six miles south of the Dothan city limits.
According to the police officials, Elizabeth P. Foster was traveling south in the northbound lane on U.S. 231.
The 61-year-old woman collided with a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old woman.
The 24-year-old woman, Virginia Josephine Hatton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Elizabeth was transported to a hospital for medical attention.
This incident is under investigation.
