Alabama – According to the police officials, her name is Leslie Buttram Gillespie and she was charged with second-degree counts of rape and sodomy.
The 44-year-old teacher was also charged with two counts of engaging in sex with a student.
She was honored as teacher of the year at RA Hubbard in 2019.
School officials are investigating and can’t provide any details.
