Alabama man arrested on multiple charges after disturbance call

Midland City, ALABAMA – According to the Midland City Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 10 p.m. late Friday night.

It happened at Midtown Apartments.

Midland City Police Department responded to a disturbance call.

The responding officers discovered fighting, open drinking and drugs.

Multiple suspects were arrested, police said.

One of the suspects was in possession of a loaded gun.

He was later identified as 30-year-old Jeremy Rumph.

Authorities said he is now charged with possession of a controlled substance, persons forbidden to possess a firearm, menacing, and disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace.

He is being held in the Dale County Jail without bail.
