Ozark, AL – Officials say that Police Chief Marlos Walker is currently on paid administrative leave.
Mayor Blankenship and members of the Ozark City Council voted on July 20 to terminate Ozark Police Chief Walker and Ozark Police Major Tim Hicks due to allegations of inappropriate and unprofessional behavior.
Ozark’s City Council agreed that the session should be rescheduled for next week.
The council has rescheduled for next Wednesday, September 15, at 5 p.m.
