ALABAMA – Authorities say that this unfortunate incident occurred right before 5 p.m. on August 9.
It happened in the 3000 Block of Lafayette Parkway.
The responding officers found the victim, whose vehicle had crashed into a building.
Police say the 73-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
This incident is under investigation.
