A 27-year-old suspect is behind bars after a shooting at a west Alabama home that left one man dead and four others critically wounded

ALICEVILLE, Ala. – According to the statement, his name is Jeremy Colvin and he is charged with one count of murder and four counts of attempted murder.

The shooting occurred around 1:55 a.m. at a house on Seventh Street in Aliceville.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found the five victims.

All victims are adult males and they were all shot multiple times.

The victims were transported by helicopter and ambulance to hospitals in Birmingham Tuscaloosa.

One of the victims later died.
