DOTHAN, Ala. – The City of Progress participated in the National Day of Prayer Thursday, May 6. Members of the Enterprise Ministerial Association hosted the 15th annual event at noon in front of Enterprise City Hall. Enterprise Mayor William Cooper, left, opened the prayer meeting by presenting a proclamation declaring the Day of Prayer in Enterprise to Pastor Leon Adams, right, of Park Avenue Baptist Church.
Area pastors led prayers for world peace, service members, public servants, victims of disaster, farmers and first responders. The National Day of Prayer has been observed for more than 15 years in the City of Progress.
