DOTHAN, Ala. – Southeast Health will have nearly 1,000 new appointment slots available next week for those eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, the hospital announced Thursday.
The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) has continued to provide Southeast Health with a consistent supply of the Pfizer vaccine, which has allowed the hospital to add appointments, according to a news release.
“ADPH appreciates the support of Southeast Health in offering COVID-19 vaccine to eligible people in the Wiregrass,” said Corey Kirkland, ADPH administrator of the Southeast District of Alabama.
Appointments for vaccinations will be on the first level of Southeast Health’s west parking deck located next to the emergency room entrance.
According to the release, the Dothan hospital has streamlined the scheduling process for COVID-19 vaccines along with adding more appointment availability.
