Wiregrass churches hit with COVID-19

DOTHAN, Ala. -A pair of Wiregrass churches have been hit with COVID-19. One church went back to online services this week while the other church has been forced to closer their daycare.

Covenant United Methodist Church had a child to test positive that participates in their weekday childcare service. The child showed no signs of the virus but was tested after the mom was diagnosed with COVID-19.

The daycare was closed and cleaned on Friday. The nursery was not available for today’s services according to a social media post.

While the plan was to reopen on Monday the daycare has not made a final decision just yet.
