DOTHAN, Ala. — Former U.S. Attorney general Jeff Sessions who is running for the Republican nod for senate made a campaign stop at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce Friday.

Sessions talked about why he would be the strongest Republican to run against incumbent Democrat Doug Jones in the November general election.

“I am not going soft. I’m not part of the swamp as my opponent said that is a big lie. I have advocated against the republican establishment against the big establishment in Washington I’ve fought for Alabama values time and time again,” Sessions said.

On July 14th, Sessions will face former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville.
