DOTHAN, Ala. — Former Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz and his family are planning a free meal giveaway for Dothan citizens.
He’s calling it a Gathering of Gratitude on the Go.
Schmitz plans to have 16 food trucks across the city that will each give their first 250 customers free food, which makes 4,000 meals in total. The trucks will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Some of the trucks available will be Dawgs N Things, Meals on Wheelz, and other local eateries. You can see the full list in Schmitz’s post below.
